Specific objectives:

• Participate in the annual Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) by organizing invited and contributed paper and poster sessions, roundtable discussion luncheons, and continuing education shortcourses and workshops.

• Organize and publish Proceedings from the JSM, now being done jointly with the Sections on Statistical Education and Statistical Consulting.

• Contribute announcements and articles to Amstat News. Publish the Teaching of Statistics in the Health Sciences Newsletter.

• Maintain a Web site that promotes communication among TSHS members. The site should house links to archives containing datasets, documents, and software that are useful for teaching and consulting in the health sciences.

• Represent the interests of health science teachers and consultants in other ASA activities.
