TRANSJUGULAR INTRAHEPATIC PORTALSYSTEMIC SHUNT (TIPS) VERSUS DISTAL
SPLENORENAL SHUNT (DSRS)
TIPS -- a radiological procedure in which a stent (a tubular device)
is placed in the middle of the liver. The stent connects the portal vein
with the hepatic vein.
