Key Interests:
Dr. Beck is a full staff member of the Department. He is Principal Investigator of the Data Coordinating Centers for the NIDDK-funded multicenter clinical trials: Hemodialysis (HEMO) Study, the Modification of Diet in Renal Disease (MDRD) Study, Frequent Hemodialysis Network (FHN) and Dialysis Access Consortium (DAC). He is also Co-Principal Investigator at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation clinical center of an NCI-sponsored clinical trial studying the recurrence of neoplastic large bowel polyps after taking calcium, and/or Vitamin D. His research interests include the analysis of longitudinal data and clinical trial design and analysis.
